For comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings Dr. Henry Bickoff, OD is available at Moss Opticians by appointment. Dr. Bickoff is therapeutically certified and has over 30 years’ of experience.

Examinations for children and adults may include:

Glaucoma testing
Vision screening
Muscle imbalance (prism)
All types of contact lens fittings from the multifocal design to hybrid fitting for keratoconus patients
Post Lasik cataract evaluations

Do you take insurance?

Not directly. We work with a company that can process “out-of-network” claims on most insurance plans.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are required for all eye exams. All other services, no appointment needed.

Can I get a DMV test at your store?

Yes. just call for an appointment.

How long do glasses take to be done?

Good question! In most cases, within a week. Many will be done in a couple of days.

ALL work is done on premises for the best quality control.

Wait! You mean my contact lens prescription is different from my eyeglass prescription?

They can be very different. Additional measurements are taken for contact lens fittings. Dr. Bickoff is available for contact lens exams in addition to general eye exams. Call for more information and to make an appointment.

Do you carry ready readers?

Yes, we do. Although making up glasses specific to your eyes is best, we have a large selection of pre-made readers available for purchase.

Do you carry Blue Light Blockers?

Yes, we do. We have non prescription available for immediate purchase. Blue Light Blockers can also be made for your prescription. Call for additional information or to make an appointment.

Do you sell non-prescription sunglasses?

BIG YES! We carry a variety of polarized sunglasses from brands like Maui Jim, Ray Ban, & Revo. We also carry a large stock of non-polarized fashion sunglasses, from brands like Gucci, Tom Ford, and so many more. If you would prefer your fashion sunnies with polarized lenses, we can generally do that in-store in about 2 hours. However, lens colors are limited.
